In Jamey's play along volume #2, Nothin' But Blues, this is called "Long-Meter Jazz Rock," but we figured that wasn't a very exciting title for a performance piece. So, we called it Street Life and created this arrangement so students could practice their improvised solos using the Aebersold CD. We spiced up the original melody a little but kept the form and chord structure exactly the same as the play-along.
