Catherine Schneider, the French pianist, improviser and composer, has played this work on several continents and it has become an established part of her repertoire. Iâve noticed that she approaches the keyboard as if it were an artistâs palette of colors and her interpretation of this work demonstrates an extremely wide variety of subtle sound and color nuances in the way she draws out the sonic waves.
