I wrote the music with this lovely little spot in mind and added my usual large dollup of fantasy. The footpath leads on the the old Shaw Bowes Academy where Charles Dickens was inspired to write Nicholas Nickleby and his tales of Wackford Squeers and Dotheboys Hall.
