After his death, much of his work fell into obscurity during the twentieth century. Rediscovering Arban's masterful music was the motivation for compiling this collection of cornet pieces. Included pieces are. "Variations Brilliantes," "Fantaisie brillante sur l'air populaire de Marlborough," "Fantaisie brillante sur des motifs de La Cenerentola de Gioachino Rossini," "Le Pre aux Clercs," "Romance de Mignon de Ambroise Thomas," among other brilliant works.
