Performance score. Published by Editio Baerenreiter Praha. PA.H7842. The third title of Complete Critical Edition of Miloslav Kabelac's Works comprises Short Piano Pieces. This loose set of seven piano compositions written between the years 1946 and 1961 by one of the most original personalities of the Czech music of the second half of 20th century is now appearing in published form for the first time. Its title, determined by the editor Zdenek Nouza for the sake of this edition, points out the less demanding character of the pieces, typical of the well pre-mediated structure appearing here, however, graced with the necessary amount of charm. Due to this unique combination the pieces could well prove a welcome contribution to the teaching repertoire.

Díky této jedinečné kombinaci kusy mohly ukázat jako vítaný příspěvek k výukovému repertoáru.
