In his quintet dating from 1993 Heinio draws on Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking-Glass. As they play, the members of the quintet go through the dialogue between Alice, Tweedledum and Tweedledee. this adds its own rhythmic and dramatic perspective to the exciting music. The work was premiered at the Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival in summer 1994.
