Epiphone. Dot Studio Limited Edition. Cherry Gloss.

Originál

Featuring basic volume and tone controls and open coil Alnico Classic humbuckers, the Epiphone Dot Studio is a studio version of the classic ES-335 “Dot”. This new model offers the same sound as the original ES-335, but at an affordable price and without the problems associated with vintage guitars. Similar to the Les Paul Studio, the Dot Studio has all the tone and functionality of the original Epiphone “Dot” but with a gloss Cherry finish. Epiphone is long famous for its own original semi-hollowbody models from the 1950s Kalamazoo, Michigan era, including the Riviera and the Sheraton. At the same time as those guitars were being designed and constructed in Kalamazoo, the ES 335, first introduced in 1958, became a favorite of blues, rock, country and pop acts for its elegant design and wide array of colorful tone combinations. Now, the Epiphone Dot Studio , named in reference to its mahogany body and plain fingerboard, opens up the availability of the sustain and resonance of the semi-hollow design for a bounty less than most solid body guitars. Features of the Epiphone Dot Studio include. Laminated Mahogany body and top with Mahogany SlimTaper “D” profile neck. Rosewood 12” fingerboard. Scale. 24.75”. Nut width. 1.68. Tailpiece. Black LockTone Tune-o-matic StopBar. Hardware. Chrome. Machine heads. Grover 18. Pickups. open coil Alnico Classic Humbuckers at the neck and bridge. Pickup selector. Epiphone 3-way toggle.
