Note re instrumentation (in light of doubts expressed in comments to ) - given what seems to have been the performance history of many of Wiske's other works including those conducted by the composer- much of his output consisted of part and chorus songs (the former issued mostly just as parts, hence the name, iirc), it seems, with piano accompaniment I am at least guessing and think there is some evidence from some concert reports also (though perhaps some were arranged for orchestral or other accompaniments at some points) - piano accompaniment is at least a good guess. The works fail to specify the nature of the accompaniment, however, those I've looked at so far anyway- Schissel (note the too-manyth: maybe because there is no accp't, and the keyboard part is for rehearsal only, not performance)
