(9 Brass) This swinging netherworld composition is chock full of mysterious, spooky textures. A solo trumpet (in plunger) adds effects during the melody statement. The chart features an outer world soli with trumpet (in wawa mute), guitar (wawa pedal), xylophone and two tenor saxophones accompanied by bass. The chart climaxes in an equally eerie horn shout accompanied by an "intoxicating" 12/8 groove from the drum set.
