A few things on my checklist
That I need to do downtown
So I step on to the sidewalk
Full of people all around

Someone said the city
Can be a lonely place
But even though I know
I can?t find one familiar face

Anywhere, anytime I?m on my own
I?ll hold on to the promise that I will never be alone

Even though it?s midnight
And I?m lying in the dark
I think of You up in Heaven
